32/36 DFEV Conversion

Post by Jcorreia1993 »

Hey all, I got a 76 spider from my grandpa and am really trying to get it up and running for him to see before he’s too old. He was the original owner (bought in CA) and has had it sitting around in a garage since I was a kid. I swapped over the Carb to the 32/36 DFEV, but need some assistance on where these extra lines go, any help would be appreciated! Looking forward to taking him for a drive in the fiat!

I'm lost besides the following:

#2 – this is the fuel return which I’m going to plug up into a 3-way fuel filter
#3 – I believe I can just leave this open or cap it since it is an emission thing

SOS on the rest of the lines, thanks in advance!

#1 or #2, yes, fuel return to the gas tank.
#3: float bowl vapor recovery. You don't have this on your carb, so plug it up.
#4: An EGR vacuum line, but it looks like you've removed the EGR so you can plug it up or just leave it.
#5: Crankcase vent hose. Do NOT plug this up. It should be connected to your carb air cleaner housing.
#6: Warm air inlet to the carb air cleaner housing. Helps the engine warm up, but if you don't have the original air cleaner housing, there's nowhere to connect this.
